When Disney and Lucasfilm were in casting mode for The Force Awakens, there were no shortage of rumors about actors who had met for various roles that weren't revealed at the time. In the years between The Force Awakens' announcement and the movie's first table read, fans knew very little about what the story was going to be about. This shroud of secrecy extended to the characters as well, new and returning alike. Abrams has found a way to marry the impressive skills of Uwais, Ruhian and Rahman with a compelling reason for them fight. ![]() When it comes to The Force Awakens, we're hopeful J.J. However, though the fight is flashy it doesn't carry the emotional weight of say Luke and Vader's duel in Empire or even Obi-Wan and Anakin's fight at the end of Revenge of Sith.
